As a mother of a serving soldier in Afghanistan,i wish to thank all staff [communities First Trefechan],residents,of the area,who helped,donated,to sending boxes to our boys in 2 Royal Welsh [Acoy].These boxes helped them have comfort,and a little taste of home,especially at Christmas,being so far away.So generous were the supplies,the Army could just about cope with the load,but so harsh the conditions that the boys had to endure at times,those boxes were very welcome.Thank You so much Mrs D Sullivan.

The Communities First would also like to reiterate these thanks to all local residents who kindly donated to all appeals for local servicemen.
